If Polls Are Held Today, BRS Will Win 90 Plus Seats: KTR

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao on Wednesday mocked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for dissolving the Assembly and holding fresh elections to prove his claim that he will be the Prime Minister for 10 years.
Speaking to the media, Rama Rao said that the people of Telangana have realized how Congress rule has become a “disaster for the state”. “Revanth Reddy continues to claim that he will win the next elections again. If he is so confident, let him dissolve the Assembly and demand fresh elections. If elections are held today, BRS will return to power by winning more than 90 seats. This is the reason for the disappointment among people with the Congress government,” Rama Rao said.
He said the Congress is and always has been the “first enemy of Telangana” after betraying the aspirations of the Telangana movement time and time again. Rama Rao said, “The Congress government was a complete disaster. It came to power on false promises and failed to implement its guarantees to every section of society.”
This, he said, was in stark contrast to the “remarkable progress made under KCR’s leadership in agriculture, irrigation, drinking water, education, healthcare, welfare and industrial growth”. “K. Chandrashekar Rao is the trump card of BRS and will be back to actively lead the fight against Congress misrule,” he said.
Rama Raoi also criticized the government’s handling of the Future City project and alleged that the project was being used for real estate interests. He announced that the future BRS government would review and cancel the project.
