India condemns Islamabad mosque bombing, rejects Pakistan’s baseless blame | India News

India condemns the mosque bombing that took place in Islamabad earlier today. The attack caused tragic loss of life and India expresses its condolences to the families of the victims.
India outright denies all such allegations. The nation urges Pakistan to take its internal issues seriously instead of pointing fingers.

In a press release on Friday, the Ministry of External Affairs said: “The bombing of the Islamabad mosque earlier today is condemnable and India condoles the loss of life it caused. It is unfortunate that Pakistan has chosen to deceive itself by blaming others for the ills occurring in its country, rather than seriously addressing the issues plaguing its social fabric. India denies any such allegations, which are as baseless as they are meaningless.”

At least 31 people were killed and more than 160 people were injured in a suicide attack on a Shiite mosque in Islamabad’s Tarlai Kalan district during Friday prayers.
After stopping security guards at the Khadija Tul Kubra Mosque, the attacker detonated explosives near the entrance.

While India condemned the tragic loss of life and expressed condolences, it rejected the baseless blame game being played by Pakistan amid its domestic troubles. Although militants such as TTP or ISIS are suspected, no group has yet claimed responsibility. Hospitals were alerted for the treatment of the injured.
