Sir Keir Starmer joked with an IKEA worker at Wednesday’s Prime Minister’s Questions that he should replace her.

The Prime Minister visited the store in Croydon, south London, on Monday (January 12) to celebrate changes to parental leave, including unpaid parental leave from the first day of a new job.

In a video posted on his TikTok account, Sir Keir meets a staff member called Stephen and jokes that a visit to IKEA was “so much better than being in Parliament” and offers Stephen, who has short, gray hair, to replace him at the weekly event.
