India–Japan Pact Urges Youth To Take Lead

Haydarabad:The Joint Credit Mechanism (JCM), a bilateral agreement between India and Japan, will deepen cooperation on climate action to Japanese companies operating in Haydarabad.
Kohei Kiname, Director of JCM Projects and International Market Mechanism at Japan’s Global Environment Office, said that India’s rapid technological and economic growth made it an ideal partner. “The projects that focus on climate will benefit both countries,” he said. Emphasizing the role of youth, Japan said that under the Ministry of Environment, a youth climate committee that youth adds ideas under the Ministry of Environment. “Indian initiatives can also bring projects under JCM,” he explained.
Explanations, Indian Environment, Forestry and Climate Change (MEFCC) and Japan’s Ministry of Environment in collaboration with the Indian Trade and Industry Federation (FICCI) and Japan’s Ministry of Environment and 15th Indian Climate Policy and business came in Conclave. The event brought together policy makers, business leaders and experts to negotiate climate policy, carbon markets, clean energy and low -carbon industrial growth.
Dr. Rambabu Paravastu, Co -Chairman of the Environment and Climate Change Committee, said that India has led historically global climate efforts and stated that he stated his active role in the Kyoto protocol and clean development mechanism. Japan praised Japan, which was developed under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and now enabled India to make similar agreements with South Korea, Singapore and Sweden.
Ficci Co -Chairman Meela Jayadev praised Tahangana’s progress in afforestation, renewable energy and water management and emphasized the need for policy and business innovation to comply with climate goals.
In his presentation, Kiname described JCM as a tool that enables them to cooperate on the projects of unstable countries through technology transfer and investment of common countries. He said that such projects produce carbon loans that help both countries to achieve climatic goals.
