Indian tech firms Sahasra and Zoho showcase Asian ambitions at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taiwan

Indian electronics maker Sahasra and software firm Zoho showcased their products and services at a major tech trade event in Taipei this week as they aim to attract customers and partnerships in overseas markets.
While the event witnessed significant participation from Indian buyers, a handful of Indian companies also participated in COMPUTEX 2026, which broke a record with 6,000 stalls from 1,500 exhibitors representing 33 countries.
Sahasra Electronics, part of the Sahasra Group, showcased microSD cards at the event. The company said it has received encouraging response from customers across different markets.
“We have customers in China, we have customers in the US, Europe and the UK, so we are meeting customers here and getting very, very good response,” said Ankur Dwivedi, strategic account manager at Sahasra.
The company said it will use the event to explore new partnerships, technology collaborations and potential joint ventures.
“We are here to explore partnerships in terms of customers and in terms of technology, innovation and type of joint ventures where we can participate and implement technologies in India as well,” Dwivedi said. he said.
Zoho Corporation, which provides cloud-based business software and software-as-a-service applications, said Taiwan has emerged as an important market for the company, and businesses in the region are increasingly engaging with its products.
“We are in Taiwan because it is a growing market for us and has good potential for Zoho,” said Eng Kit Goh, market leader for Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan.
“There are a lot of opportunities for us in terms of digital adoption in Taipei and Taiwan in general, a lot of businesses are engaging with us,” he said.
Zoho said India’s growing reputation for software development and technology services has helped build trust among customers in Taiwan.
“People recognize India’s expertise in technology and software development, there is also a trust,” Goh said.
Organizers said they hope to see greater participation of Indian companies in future editions of the expo as technology cooperation between the two parties continues to expand.
“We extend a warm invitation to India’s vibrant technology industry and encourage stronger participation as the expo continues to become one of the world’s most influential platforms for AI and technology innovation,” said James C.F. Huang, Chairman of Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
Strategic partnerships in semiconductor manufacturing, AI infrastructure and electronics supply chains have strengthened India-Taiwan technology ties in recent years. While Taiwan provides technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities, India offers a large consumer market, raw materials and a skilled workforce.
Along with the exhibitors, Indian buyers looking for new products and business opportunities also attended the event in large numbers.
Abhishek Jain of Arihant Info Solutions, a technology company, said it was his tenth time attending the annual event, adding that COMPUTEX continues to be an important platform for networking and identifying products for the Indian market.
“We have a lot of suppliers here and we always come here to network and look for some new products that we can import from here and sell in India,” Jain said.
He said India’s participation could increase further as the country’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem evolves.
“The technology and infrastructure they have, like in Taiwan and China, we don’t have that kind of infrastructure for manufacturing yet in India. The Modi government has taken the initiative to start manufacturing of many semiconductors and things like that. It’s a good initiative, but it will take some time to yield results,” Jain said.
The event, a leading global exhibition focusing on artificial intelligence, computing technologies and startups, concluded on Friday.
According to organizers, the exhibition attracted 111,312 buyers and visitors from 152 countries and regions, including Japan, the USA, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, India, Thailand and Malaysia.
At the fair, companies such as Nvidia, Intel, Marvell and Qualcomm introduced their important products and initiatives. Many of these companies already have a significant presence in India.
