India’s Adani to invest $100 billion in AI data centers by 2035

India’s Adani on Tuesday announced It plans to invest $100 billion to develop AI-ready data centers powered by renewable energy by 2035, with the aim of building the world’s largest integrated data center platform.
The blockbuster investment, which comes as India looks to gain a stronger foothold in the global AI race, is expected to create a $250 billion AI infrastructure ecosystem in India over the next decade, Adani said.
The initiative is also poised to spur an additional $150 billion in spending in server manufacturing, standalone cloud platforms and supporting industries, the company said.
“The world is entering an Intelligence Revolution that is deeper than any previous Industrial Revolution,” Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group, said in a statement. he said.
“India will not be just a consumer in the age of AI. We will be creators, builders and exporters of intelligence and we are proud to be able to participate in this future,” he added.
The announcement coincides with India’s AI Impact Summit, a five-day event that begins on Monday. Global leaders and technology executives are expected to attend the summit, which is billed as the first major international artificial intelligence meeting held in the Global South.
