Infosys Employee Arrested for Filming Women in Restroom
An InfoS employee, Bengaluru City Police, the company’s Electronic City Campus was allegedly filmed female colleagues without getting information in a toilet. Swapnil Nagesh (30) defined as the defendant, used the mobile phone to save videos.
The incident appeared on Monday, when a female employee realized a suspicious reflection at a door while using the toilet. When he was examined closer, he discovered that Nagesh was trying to record him. Shock gave an alarm, asked Nagesh to apologize immediately.
Following the complaint, InfoS HR staff launched an internal investigation. After seizing Nagesh’s phone, they found about 30 videos showing various female employees secretly recorded in the toilet.
The complainant’s husband was one of his wife’s victims. Later on, an official police complained to the Electronics City Police Station and led to the arrest of Nagesh. Police continues the investigation and InfoS have not yet made a public statement about the incident.
