The Iranian army claimed that two US warplanes, including F-35, were shot down over central Iran.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian regime’s feared military arm, said the F-35 was shot down by its air defenses and as a result the pilot was unlikely to survive, Mehr news agency reported.
Iran announced that it also attacked an ‘enemy’ warplane over Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, but the US military denied the ‘false claim’, which was said to have been made ‘at least half a dozen times’.
Last night Donald Trump boasted about the attack on Iran’s highest bridge and warned that if the US steps up its attacks, power plants will be the next targets.
The US military has not even begun to destroy what remains in Iran. “Next are bridges, then power plants,” Trump wrote on social media.
