Iran-Israel LIVE: New phase in conflict as Israel begins ‘surface-to-surface’ strikes | World | News

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said that more shelf jets were sent to the Middle East after threatening to target Iran’s British, French and US bases.
The Prime Minister said that more military assets have been deployed in the region to provide “unexpected situation support” in the region in the midst of increasing hostility between the two countries.
It is understood that extra fuel supply planes from the UK bases are deployed and faster Tayfun jets will be sent.
Speaking with journalists traveling with him during his visit to Canada, Sir Keir refused to completely exclude the conflict, but during the weekend, “intense” developments would be discussed in detail at the G7 summit.
He said: “These are clearly operational decisions and the situation continues and develop, and therefore I will not go into definite details, but we carry assets, we carry assets to the region, including jets, and for emergency support in this region.
Sir Keir added: “Our constant message is increasing, and therefore everything we do, all the debates we do, is about increasing.”
