Iran appears to have been shaken by a series of consecutive explosions on Saturday. According to news on social media, explosions were heard in Karaj, Tabriz, Nowshahr, Hashtgerd and Qeshm. In a video about X, many long-range missiles can be seen passing over the skies of Karaj.

According to local media reports, four people lost their lives in the explosion that occurred in a four-flat residence in Ahvaz. According to the head of Ahvaz Fire and Security Services, the incident took place in the Kianshahr neighborhood and a family consisting of a mother, father and their two children lost their lives.

He added that a 3-year-old child and a woman were pulled out of the rubble.

One of the other attacks was said to have hit a building belonging to the Revolutionary Guard Navy, but the force said this was false and none of its buildings were damaged.

In a separate post on Telegram, it was stated that the first three floors of an eight-storey building were seriously damaged and approximately 10 people were injured in the explosion in Bandar Abbas.

The windows of other floors of the building and neighboring houses on Molam Boulevard were broken.

Authorities are currently on scene along with emergency and fire rescue teams to assess the extent of the incident. No deaths have been reported so far.

The cause of the explosions across the country is not yet known.
