Deputy CM Pawan Warns Those Inciting Caste, Religious Unrest

KAKINADA: Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan issued a stern warning against elements trying to incite social unrest in the name of caste and religion.

Pawan Kalyan, who inaugurated the Sankranti Sambaralu event in Pithapuram on Friday, emphasized on warning people about such anti-social elements.

“Don’t fall victim to their designs,” the Deputy CM stressed.

Kakinada instructed the district collector and superintendent of police to identify these people and take necessary steps.

“Sankranti is a harvest festival. It should be celebrated by all castes and religious people like Onam in Kerala,” said Pawan Kalyan.

He announced that the Integrated Martial Arts and Fine Arts Academy will be established in Pithapuram by the Jana Sena Party Trust and foundation.

Among those present on Sankranti Sambaralu were ministers Nadendla Manohar, P. Narayana and Kandula Durgesh, Kakinada Rural MLA Pantham Nanaji, DCCB chief Tummala Ramaswami and MLC P. Vara Prasad.
