Iranian Nuclear Program Degraded By Up To Two Years, Says Pentagon

Washington: Pentagon said on Wednesday that 10 days ago, the US strikes have reduced Iran’s nuclear program up to two years, and the US military operation has reached its goals despite a much more cautious first assessment leaking to the public.
A Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell presented this figure to journalists with a briefing and added that the official estimate was “probably closer to two years”. It did not provide evidence to support the Parnell assessment.
“We have reduced the programs for one to two years for one to two years, at least we evaluated the Intel assessments of the department.” He said.
US military bombardment planes, on June 22, more than a dozen 30,000 pounds (13,600 kg) shelter bombs and more than two dozens of Tomahawk Tomawk -Cruise Cruise missiles using missiles against three Iranian nuclear facilities.
After saying that Iran’s program was destroyed immediately after the realization of President Donald Trump, the language was echoed on Wednesday’s briefing, and the intelligence about the influence of the strikes is closely monitored.
Such results usually receive for weeks or more to determine the US intelligence community.
“All the intelligence we see (we have received) has led us to believe that Iran – especially these facilities are completely destroyed.” He said.
Rafael Grossi, President of the UN nuclear guard at the weekend, said Iran could produce enriched uranium in a few months and that the US could arouse doubt about how effective the US is to destroy the nuclear program.
Several experts warned that Iran probably a stock that is close to the weapon class, that it was removed from the deep -embedded Fordow site before strikes and can be hidden.
However, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth claimed that Iran was carrying its highly enriched uranium from US strikes last week.
A preliminary assessment from the Defense Intelligence Agency last week claimed that strikes may have brought back Iran’s nuclear program for months. However, Trump management officials said that the assessment was low confidence and that Iran’s nuclear program was seriously damaged by intelligence.
According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, strikes in the Fordow nuclear region caused serious damage.
“Nobody knows exactly what’s going on in Fordow. However, what we’ve known so far is that the facilities are seriously and intensively damaged,” Araqchi said in an interview on Tuesday. He said.
