Rains lead to closure of tourist spots in Nilgiris; Avalanche dam sluice gates opened

Although the Nilgirs were alleviated throughout, many tourist places operated by Dodaba Peak, Pine Forest and Eighth Mile Tree Park, including the Forest Department, were closed to the public on July 27, 2025 for the fourth day for the fourth day.
