Israel Announces Temporary Pause In Gaza Fighting To Facilitate Humanitarian Aid | World News

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced a temporary daily pause to fight along a key path in Southern Gaza to facilitate the presentation of humanitarian aid. This decision points to a rare moment of restriction in an intensive and long -term military campaign against Hamas.

The pause, which is reported to take place for several hours every day, is focused on the Rafa corridor, a vital life line for human convoys carrying food, medicine and fuel. According to Israeli military officials, stopping in operations “tactical and human nature” and “military goals do not show a ceasefire or change”.

The decision follows the application of appeal for weeks from international organizations, including the United Nations, World Health Organization and Red Cross, all warning about the disaster conditions in Gaza. Hospitals are overwhelmed, water is low and displaced by hundreds of thousands of civilian fights.

IDF’s spokesman,

“This daily pause aims to allow humanitarian aid to reach desperate needs. We adhere to our goals, but we accept the importance of ensuring that the help passes safely.”

The announcement comes after the reports of civilian losses and damaging the infrastructure of Gaza. Human rights groups called on increasingly to protect non -war and allow humanitarian corridors to work freely.

In spite of the pause, Israeli officials reiterated that military operations could continue in Gaza elsewhere in Gaza, and that they could continue on a full scale depending on their security developments. Hamas did not give an official response to the announcement, but past pause was used by both sides to re -group.
