Israeli Military Intercepts Gaza-Bound Aid Flotilla, Boards Multiple Vessels | World News
The Israeli army has once again seized ships from the ongoing Gaza Aid Flotilla, including the Freedom Flashilla Coalition’s Bin Madleens Gaza and Conscience. About 120 nautical miles from Gaza, at least two boats boarded, disrupting live feeds and prompting authorities to attempt to redirect the flotilla’s course.
“At this time, at least two boats have been boarded and most have been cut off from the live stream. The military is trying to direct their course. More to come.” he said.

This latest intervention follows Israel’s deportation of around 170 activists, including Swedish campaigner Greta Thunberg, who was detained after trying to reach Gaza’s global Sumud flotilla ships.
During his detention, several activists alleged that they faced ill-treatment. Greta Thunberg in particular was reportedly “paraded like a trophy wrapped in the Israeli flag,” while attendees claimed she was pulled by her hair and forced to kiss the flag.
The Global Sumud Flotilla and the Freedom Flotilla Coalition are humanitarian organizations dedicated to providing vital assistance to residents of the area affected by Israel’s blockade of Gaza and conflict.
Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan
Meanwhile, Hamas’ top negotiator, Khalil Al-Hayya, said the group does not trust Israel, underscoring President Donald Trump’s deep suspicion as US-backed ceasefire talks reach a critical point in Egypt. Trump’s 20-point plan, jointly presented with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calls for an immediate end to hostilities in Gaza, the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, and the disarmament of armed groups in Gaza. The plan also proposes establishing an interim administration led by Palestinian technocrats under international supervision and outlines major efforts to rebuild Gaza’s infrastructure, economy and key services.
Of the 251 kidnapped in October 2023, 48 hostages remained in Gaza, with 20 believed to be alive, according to Israeli officials. Violence has since resulted in more than 66,000 Palestinian deaths, following an October 2023 Hamas offensive that killed nearly 1,200 Israelis.
