Israeli minister sparks anger by praying at sensitive Jerusalem holy site

Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the El Aksa Mosque compound in Jerusalem and prayed there, and violated one of the most sensitive areas in the Middle East.

The photographs and videos of his visit show the Jewish Prayers in the East Jerusalem, which is occupied by Ben-Gvir’s Jews in the compound known as the Temple Mountain.

Praying on the site has been breaking an arrangement for a long time that allows Jews to visit the site but not to pray.

The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office made a statement stating that there was no change in Israel’s policy of maintaining the status quo agreement, which allows only Muslim worship.

Jordan, the site of the site, called Ben-Gvir’s last visit to “an unacceptable provocation”.

Hamas called this “the deepening of the ongoing attackers against our Palestinian people”, while the Palestinian authority President Mahmoud Abbas said that the visit was “passing all red lines”.

The site is the most sacred place for Jews because it is the place of the two Bible temples. The third is the third most sacred place for Muslims who believe that the Prophet Muhammad went to heaven.

He was arrested by Israel from Jordan in the Middle East War in 1967. Under the status quo, Jordan allowed the site to continue its historical role as custody, while Israel took control of security and access.

Palestinians complain that in recent years, Jewish visitors have been praying by the Israeli police in recent years to weaken Israel.

Waqf, a Islamic donation that manages the site, said Ben-Gvir is among 1,250 Jews rising on Sunday morning.

Ultra Nationalist Ben-Gvir, who supervised the police as the Minister of National Security He visited the site beforeHowever, the Israeli Times said that it was praying for the first time on this site.

He was besieged by police officers while entering and visiting the compound.

Ben-Gvir, said in a statement on the site, Hamas recently released and weakened hostages “horror” video aimed to put pressure on Israel and calls the return of hostages, he said.

The Minister also repeated the call of Israel to invade the entire Gaza Strip and encourage Palestinians as “voluntary migration” from the region.

Experts say this will be a possible war crime of civilians.

He has Approved by the UK For “Repeated Violence Encouragement against Palestinian communities” in the occupied West Bank.
