American Airlines aircraft reportedly grounded after a reported technology disruption that has caused a travel chaos for passengers. It comes only a few hours after Rival United Airlines was shot with a similar problem.

“The American is aware of a technical problem that affects some maintenance applications.

“Currently no flight has been canceled and our teams are actively resolving problems. We apologize to our customers for discomfort.”

An American Airlines tweeted passengers: What’s going on with @americanir? They gave us information about a national technology disruption 2 plus hours ago. They say that all the aircraft are now grounded and we have been on the asphalt since then. Another said: “The pilot announced the ‘problems’ that caused them to go to manual processes. Sit on the asphalt in Philadelphia.” The third wrote: “The pilot has announced some of the electrical problems that should be discussed in creating some manual processes that will delay us. One day, I pray to fly on the American Airlines flight.”
