Italian Grand Prix result: Max Verstappen wins as Oscar Piastri lets Lando Norris past to take second at Monza

Since Max Verstappen won the Italian Grand Prix for Red Bull, McLaren’s approach to the race in the title struggle between drivers led to discussion.

McLaren, Oscar Piastri’ye, for most of the race for the second place after running Briton behind Australia after dropping his teammate Lando Norris’a ordered to take second place.

This was a reference for Norris to allow Piastri to reversed his positions after reversing his positions for tactical reasons.

Piastri said he didn’t agree, but he followed the order.

There will be claims that the situations are not comparable and that a mistake in the pits is only part of the bending of the race.

The result reduces Piastri’s leadership over Norris to three points with eight races to 31 points.
