It’s one giant treat for womankind as musclebound astronaut Victor Glover is caught on camera taking a post-workout ‘space shower’

Astronaut Victor Glover became an unlikely sex symbol after he was caught on camera taking a space shower.
Images of him taking off his shorts while going to the Moon during the Artemis II mission were accidentally published by NASA.
And the pilot’s muscular figure definitely stunned the eyes of some viewers watching on the ground.
In the live feed from inside the Orion spacecraft, the 49-year-old American is seen cleaning himself with a ‘hygiene towel’ (the spaceflight equivalent of a wet wipe) after exercising.
Mission Control in Houston cut footage of Glover cleaning his feet after realizing the broadcast included more of the astronaut than planned.
But that didn’t stop reruns of the action from being watched more than half a million times 105,000 miles from Earth, with jokes dubbing him Buff Lightyear.
One woman wrote on social media: ‘Oh my God Astronaut Victor Glover is so physically fit. Please let him get plenty of exercise.’
Another posted a muscle emoji and added: ‘A representative for a man, a full set for humanity.’

A third joked he was too sexy to fit into his shirt, before pleading: ‘Ladies, please, he’s a married man’ – then adding with a wink: ‘But I understand.’
Mission Control operator Christina Birch interrupted the live feed and told the crew: ‘I’m sorry, we had video of Victor but we stopped broadcasting it because we didn’t know your preference.’
Commander Reid Wiseman responded from the spacecraft: ‘We appreciate it,’ and added: We were absolutely fine with it coming out, but we also understand if you want to restrict it. Either way, it’s okay.’

The mission is being closely watched by legendary astronaut Buzz Aldrin, 96, who became the second man to walk on the Moon after Neil Armstrong as part of the Apollo 11 crew in 1969.
His friend, film producer Steven Barber, said: ‘He was giddy about it and was like, ‘Now it’s time to invade Mars!’ he said. You could see the joy in their eyes.
‘He said he was glad we were coming back. ‘This is great,’ he said. They follow in our footsteps. “It’s something that’s long overdue.”
