Evil stepmother Emma Tustin’s crimes were so heartbreaking that detectives investigating her case were given counselling.
Jurors in the murder trial were exempt from ever having to hold public office again for the rest of their lives.
But when it came time to face his fate for the torture and murder of his six-year-old stepson, he refused to show his face.
This was the final act of a strange display of self-pity; I was deeply displeased to witness this first hand.
I watched his entire horrific trial in late 2021, and his evil is something I will never forget.
