Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo headed to the 2026 BRIT Awards on Saturday, sending their ‘thoughts and prayers’ to the Middle East amid missile attacks.

Sophie’s sister Georgia, her husband and their young daughter are stranded in Dubai after an Iranian missile hits the famous Palm Jumeirah.

The couple put on brave faces as they attended the ceremony at Manchester Co-op Live Arena amid fears of an escalation of all-out war in the Middle East.

A few hours later the couple were seen leaving their Manchester hotel and heading towards the arena, with Jamie holding Sophie’s hand as she helped her down the stairs.

Influencers in the busy city of Dubai expressed shock on social media at being caught in the retaliatory strikes, which came just hours after the United States and Israel launched an airstrike targeting the Iranian regime on Saturday morning.

‘Our immediate priority is the safety of UK citizens in the region and we will provide them with consular assistance 24/7.

‘As part of our long-standing commitments to the security of our allies in the Middle East, we have a range of defense capabilities in the region that we have recently strengthened. We are ready to protect our interests.

‘We do not want to see a wider regional conflict escalate further.’
