Jantar Mantar Explodes Into Celebrations

New Delhi: Celebrations broke out at Jantar Mantar after the main demand of the protesters and youth was met on Saturday, July 25.

Students carrying the tricolor flag waved and jumped for joy after the Union Government bowed to their demands, a rare occurrence in over a decade.

Last week, thousands of students occupied the designated protest area in Delhi.

Protesters were seen dancing, chanting, waving tricolor flags and chanting “Vande Mataram”. Protesters led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) were seen hugging each other and chanting patriotic ‘Chak De!’ on stage. He was seen dancing to the song. India’.

While the meeting celebrated the resignation of the minister, many people said Dr. They carried portraits and posters of BR Ambedkar and described it as a victory of their agitation.

Speaking at the meeting, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said the resignation showed the power of democratic protest.

“They would say this government has never seen resignation. We say the world will bend if there is anyone who can bend it,” he told the crowd.

However, Dipke said that the agitation will continue despite Pradhan’s resignation. He demanded compensation of 1 billion rupees to the families of students who died by suicide in connection with the exam controversy and sought action against police personnel for their behavior during the protests on July 20.

Referring to the words of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Dipke said, “If you had not called us ‘cockroaches’, I would not have returned to India. If you had not called us ‘cockroaches’, the youth of the country would not have taken to the streets. If you had not called us ‘cockroaches’, Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation would not have happened.”

While the celebrations continued under increased security measures in the protest area, these words received great applause from the meeting.

Pradhan resigned from the Union Cabinet, saying that the leak of NEET papers was not a matter of “individual prestige” for him and that he had taken responsibility for the issue from “day one”. He also warned the public against anti-national forces exploiting the situation.
