Jantar Mantar protest LIVE: ‘Will stay alive till July 20 at any cost’, says Sonam Wangchuk

Rao shared a photo of Wangchuk on his Instagram account on Thursday, saying “I support Sonam” and said it was sad to “witness complete silence” despite the hunger strike.
“I stand in solidarity with Sonam Wangchuk, Abhijeet Dipke, CJP and all the citizens of this country, young and old, who are protesting for the rights of our students. My greetings to Sonam ji, Neha, Maneesh, Ameen and everyone else who went on hunger strike to ensure justice is served. Our nation is indebted to you for saving us from our complacency and reminding us that every voice matters,” he wrote.
“It is very sad to witness the silence with which this hunger strike is met, even after 19 days. What will it take for the government to listen to the people?… It is shocking and inhumane,” he added.
