Commentary: Keir Starmer’s stunning decline shows the UK is no longer manageable
We are in a bad situation as a country. Our government is rotten; Our political class is crumbling before our eyes. Of course, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage will argue that this is not true, that this is only Labor’s problem and one that their own party can solve. So should we trust Boris Johnson and Liz Truss’ Conservative successor? Or is he someone who lies about Brexit and accepts money from donors who have no clear commitment to this country?

Summary: Starmer says he won’t resign and calls on MPs to unite against Reform
Sir Keir Starmer held a meeting with the parliamentary Labor Party on Monday and said he was “not prepared to walk away” from his role and responsibilities as prime minister.
He called on his party to unite against Reformation and said he had “never lost a fight”.
It comes after several cabinet ministers backed the Scottish Labor leader’s leadership after he called on him to resign following controversy over the mention of Lord Peter Mandelson in the latest release of the Epstein files.
Mr Starmer’s chief of staff, Morgan McSweeney, benefited greatly from Labour’s victory at the last election, and his communications director, Tim Allan, resigned within 24 hours of each other.
MPs grilled the Prime Minister over the appointment of Matthew Doyle to the House of Lords.
The government is determined to release all files relating to Lord Mandelson and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, the Prime Minister’s principal secretary, Darren Jones, told the House of Commons on Monday.
Health Minister Wes Streeting chose to avoid any controversy by personally publishing his messages with Mandelson. During the meetings, he accused Israel of “war crimes”, said that the government had no plan for economic growth and believed that he would be the “trophy” in the next general elections.
The brief launch of a website called angelaforleader.co.uk in January led to speculation that Angela Rayner might be preparing a bid for the Labor leadership. Guard.
