JD Vance meets Robert Jenrick in Cotswolds

US Vice President JD Vance meets Robert Jenrick, the Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary in the Parliament, during his holiday in England.

The BBC was told that Vance’s team invited Jenrick to a private meeting with Vice President at Cotswolds on Tuesday.

Vance and his family are visiting the region in South West England for summer vacation away from Washington DC.

BBC approached a Vance spokesman for comment.

Vance came to England last week and met David Lammy for talks about Gaza and other international relations in the City on Friday at Chevening House, the official residence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Vice President is not caused by meeting the conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, who spoke to business owners on Wight Island on Tuesday.

A conservative spokesman said Badenoch and Vance’s assistants discussed a meeting, but could not “work with programs”.

Badenoch met Vance in Washington DC last year and had dinner with the vice president.

Jenrick, who was defeated by Badenoch at the Tora Leadership Competition last year, will meet with Vance for the first time at Cotswolds.

Toray Shadow Foreign Minister and Vance took similar positions on various policies from migration to free speech.

Vance’s trip included various official participation, meetings and visits to cultural sites.

During the weekend, Vance and his family, VIII. Henry’s old house, Hampton Court Palace, a guided tour.

The residents of the Dean Hamlet in Oxfordshire faced interruptions with police closing ways for the visit of the vice president.

The village in the region and a mansion have been under heavy security since the arrival of Vance on Sunday evening.

Vice President was depicted in a farm shop near Chipping Norton, close to the house of former British Prime Minister Lord David Cameron.

Vance’s trip to Scotland, traveling to Scotland for a special visit in July, US President Donald Trump is planned to make a second state visit to England next month.
