Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s split may have shocked fans, but signs of trouble have reportedly been emerging for months. Bunnie went into detail about her side of the story on the June 18 episode of her podcast: “stupid blondeWith her song “, she clarified the rumors, shed light on their relationship, and revealed some surprising future plans.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Jelly Roll filed for divorce on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee. The 41-year-old country star listed the date of their separation as May 9, noting irreconcilable differences.

During the podcast, Bunnie shared details about what happened before Jelly’s application, revealing that the couple had a fight on Mother’s Day, which led to her saying, “Okay then get the damn divorce papers ready.”

“I packed a bag and left, and after that I didn’t talk to my husband for, I don’t know, weeks. And by this time, he was so angry and we were so emotional that he finally did exactly what I told him to do and filed the divorce papers,” she said.

“Was I blind and was this divorce mutual? No, I wasn’t. It wasn’t mutual. Even though I told him to prepare the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and just frustration,” she added.

Bunnie opened up about what led to their estrangement on her podcast, revealing that the pair tried to have a baby through in vitro fertilization, which turned her into “a shell of who I was.”

She explained that the two had three transfers and ultimately lost four embryos, leading to a breakdown in their communication and straining their marriage.

“We stopped communicating together in the last year and a half,” he shared on the podcast. “And I think it’s safe for me to say that I always loved my husband a little more than he loved me. I was always protecting him and always making sure he was okay and always keeping tabs on him and I was literally like the glue that held us together.”

Despite their divorce, Bunnie said the couple are “still having babies together.”

“So we are the most unusual couple you’ve ever met,” Bunnie said. “We’re going to parent together. J is my best friend. It’s not what you think. Neither one cheated on the other. We literally just served our purpose for each other.”

Jelly during his show in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Thursday. mentioned “liars” She spreads false rumors about her relationship online.

“Me and my wife are best friends. We’ll always be best friends,” he told the crowd. “We talked on the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on anyone. He made a podcast about this topic. You can go watch it. Every word is true.”

The couple, who married in 2016, reportedly “always had a complicated dynamic” throughout their relationship.

After news of the divorce broke, one fan commented, “She’s been dropping hints this whole time and we missed it lol.”

“Bunnie was dropping the tea in real time and we all couldn’t measure it,” another added.

Jelly Roll took the stage on June 4 CMA Festival Without a wedding ring in Nashville.

One day later Bunnie shared a video An image of himself riding a horse in the countryside. The video was accompanied by Aerosmith’s song “What It Takes” and a caption reading “Wild hearts can’t be broken.”

The lyrics of the song’s chosen section were: “There goes my ex-girlfriend / There’s another diamond ring / And all those promises made in the middle of the night I guess they mean nothing / So baby, what’s the story? Did you find another man?”

Bunnie on June 6 posted another video while enjoying the tranquility outdoors with some girlfriends. He paired the video with the lyrics of the Goo Goo Dolls’ hit song “Name.”

“Did you lose yourself somewhere out there / Did you become a star? / And doesn’t it make you sad to know that life / There’s more to it than us?”

Hours before the divorce news was made public on Monday, Bunnie published his own video She lip-syncs the lyrics to Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me”. Bunnie’s wedding ring was noticeably missing.

Fans were quick to make sense of Bunnie’s post; While rumors circulated online that she was in a relationship with Nickelback founding member Chad Kroeger, she denied the allegation on the podcast.

“I’m releasing a Nickelback song because Nickelback is like one of my favorite bands… I’m releasing this Nickelback song without thinking about anything. I’m not taking shots at J in any way, I don’t even realize it’s a breakup song. It’s trending on TikTok,” he said, acknowledging other videos he’s posted about the band.

“So there’s three fuck videos… which seems so far-fetched and I get that people are trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together, but you’re putting together a puzzle with missing pieces and it’s not even like that. I’m not with Daddy Chaddy. There’s no fucking way this could be anything. And no, I didn’t cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad. Like none of that.”

This isn’t the first time the duo has fallen on hard times. In her memoir, “Striped: Unfiltered and Unapologetic,” Bunnie detailed her husband’s affair in 2018 and explained how it affected their relationship.

“When I learned this [Jelly’s affair]”I’m devastated,” he told Fox News Digital in February. “I was hurt because I didn’t think he would be the only one to do this. I thought he was different. And at that moment, my heart broke. But instead of getting angry at him, I asked myself the question: ‘Why am I attracted to these types of men?'”

“I think a lot of people need to understand going into this marriage that we’re not a traditional bride and groom,” she explained. “I was a working girl and he was a former drug dealer turned gangster turned struggling artist. There are different rules on the street than what I call traditional marriages. If you’ve never lived that lifestyle, you wouldn’t understand. But of course, cheating is wrong in general, so it doesn’t matter.”

In 2018, Bunnie shared her vulnerability on social media amid the breakup.

“I’m sure you know by now that J and I have broken up,” she said in a YouTube video. “It’s been hard and it’s been for the best. I won’t talk about why we broke up. He has his version, I have my version, and I hope we can be friends one day.”

“My main goal in doing this vlog is to provide some therapeutic release,” he added. “Everyone experiences heartbreak at some point in their life… I’m a complete mess. I literally can’t get through the day wanting to cry… breakups suck.”

While Bunnie isn’t quite ready to date yet, she shared on her podcast that Jelly Roll has started seeing other people.

“It’s ready, it’s growing and it’s ready to go,” he said. “His testosterone is high, let me tell you. Um, and he’s ready to go. So he’s even started dating, which is great. I love that.
