Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan shares snap of him relaxing on their farm in health update after he revealed he’s been diagnosed with ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer

Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has shared an update on the star after revealing he was diagnosed with ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer.

The Clarkson’s Farm host, 66, has been battling an aggressive form of cancer since he was diagnosed last year, and his health battle was only made public when he appeared on an episode of his Prime Video show on Wednesday.

Following news of her diagnosis, Lisa took to Instagram Stories to thank her followers for their kind messages.

She also shared an update on Jeremy’s health, posting a snapshot of the star’s photos with the caption ‘Back to the Farm’.

Lisa later reshared a post by Prostate Cancer UK about the Top Gear star’s illness, writing in the caption: ‘Thank you for all your support today. @prostatecanceruk.’

Jeremy shared his diagnosis in the final two episodes of the fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm, which aired overnight.

Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has shared an update on the star after revealing he has been diagnosed with ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer.

The visibly emotional star during the episodes was seen breaking the news to her shaken co-stars Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper, who run the Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds with her.

In the series, which was shot from late 2024 to September 2025, the farmer explained to Kaleb how he was diagnosed in May last year, telling Kaleb that ten percent of his prostate was ‘dead’ ‘where the cancer is’.

He began treatment and underwent surgery in August, before being taken back to hospital in dramatic scenes that symbolized the end of the series.

The final episode ended with the host telling viewers: ‘If this is successful I’ll see you in season six, if not I won’t. ‘Take care of everyone.’

Clarkson was talking to Kaleb and Charlie about her upcoming harvest plans when the publicist dropped them the bombshell news.

After determining that the farm’s crops will be ready for harvest at the end of July, Clarkson exhales and says: ‘F***.’

When Kaleb asks if she’s “going to leave”, Clarkson leans back in her chair and tries to maintain her composure, telling the stunned couple: ‘Yes. I’ve got cancer.’

Incredulous, Kaleb immediately responds: ‘No, you didn’t. Where?’ Clarkson calls it: ‘It’s nobody’s business. I’ve known since May.’

The father of three revealed that he had been diagnosed with an ‘aggressive’ form of cancer and would have to take leave during the harvest.

While telling the news to Kaleb and Charlie, Clarkson says: ‘You may remember in May, I went for a doctor’s check-up. I disappeared last week and had a biopsy, it’s cancer and it’s an aggressive disease but it’s still very early so there will be a cure, you know.

‘I was praying I could finish the harvest and then I could go and get some treatment but it’s going to be a slap in the middle.’

Meanwhile, a tearful Kaleb, who was seen wiping his eyes during the conversation, stands behind him and says: ‘Take care of yourself, go and do it… if you need anything, just call me.’

Clarkson explained that the treatment involved a ‘slap bang’ operation in the middle of harvest time, which would result in her body being ‘immobilized for a while’, adding that she was ‘not thrilled’ at the prospect.

Charlie tells him: ‘I just wish you a very, very speedy recovery.’

He then quickly returns to the harvest arrangements and tells the couple that his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, should take over some of the duties.

The farm faced a desperate race to harvest its barley and wheat before the treatment; Complicating things was the fact that Kaleb’s wife was about to give birth to the couple’s third child.

Clarkson hails early detection and intervention when harvesting as ‘the only reason there is hope’.

‘If I hadn’t gotten myself checked and caught the problem early, this could have been my last harvest. There’s only hope because they caught him early. ‘I will harvest this farm for many years to come.’

In a later scene, the presenter says he was notified just six days before his surgery, which took place at a London hospital on August 4.

In scenes shot the previous day, Clarkson looks nervous as he leaves the farm with Lisa. “See you on the other side,” he tells Kaleb.

Originally in the final scenes of the series, Clarkson tells Lisa, Kaleb, Charlie and Gerald: ‘So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease and I ended it with cancer.’

He continues: ‘We can go on all we want about all the bad things that happen on the farm, but I think it’s better now to focus on the good things that happen at the end of the year.’

When Kaleb asks when they will know if the treatments work on the cancer, he replies: ‘I don’t know, I have a blood test today, the blood test will be done and then we will find out.

‘Not for a few more weeks. ‘C’mon cheer up, it probably worked.’

Clarkson announced that the shooting was completed after the fireside chat, but things changed after she was hospitalized. In the final episode, an ambulance with blue lights followed by the presenter in a hospital bed reveals that things didn’t go entirely as planned.

He says: ‘Some of the treatment went wrong, let’s say I’ll be here for a while. I’m zero word of mouth, I don’t know what will happen.

‘What I meant to say was, if this is successful I’ll see you in season six, if not I won’t. ‘Take care of everyone.’

Clarkson has previously hinted that all is not well, and in a press release released ahead of the first episodes of season five, Prime Video ominously warned: ‘Things turn dark in the climactic episodes as bad luck attacks from all sides, causing great upset and tension in every way possible.’

Taking to Instagram before the final episodes aired overnight, Clarkson explained in a clearly emotional video that they were ‘a really, really difficult watch’.

After sharing that beer and cider brand Hawkstone will be advertising ahead of England’s first World Cup match tonight, he continued: ‘Gloomy news: Clarkson’s farm.

‘Normally we try to keep the show idyllic, charming and joyful, but the last two episodes, airing in the middle of the night tonight, are actually neither of those things, they’re hard to watch.’

Becoming visibly emotional, he added: ‘These are really hard.’

Just two days ago, Jeremy was showing off his unique sense of humor and promoting his beer brand as he congratulated the British drivers on first, second and third place finishes at the Barcelona Grand Prix.

Clarkson has been busy since the series was filmed; While the production of the new series of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which he hosts, continues, the sixth season of Clarkson’s Farm has been ordered by Prime Video.

Production on the next series is expected to be paused to allow time for Clarkson to recover.

It comes after a difficult few years for the broadcaster, who was hospitalized with chest pain in 2024.

While in the ward doctors discovered one of his arteries was ‘completely blocked’ and the presenter later said ‘days had passed since his death’.

Fortunately, surgeons were able to solve the problem by inserting a stent, which is a small, expandable mesh tube inserted into narrow or blocked coronary arteries to help restore blood flow.

The presenter previously fell ill with excruciating chest pains in 2024 and was taken to hospital by ambulance, where doctors discovered that one of his arteries was 'completely blocked'.

When she returned to work following a health scare in an early episode of the fifth series, Clarkson told Kaleb: ‘I came back and I didn’t die. Azrael will have to wait. But it was so close.”

The former Top Gear presenter has revealed he felt unwell for the first time in 2024 after swimming in the Indian Ocean during holiday.

‘It wasn’t far, maybe two swimming pools long,’ he explained. But when I finally reached the beach, there was more water in my lungs than in Lake Superior, and I was nearly dead.’

Clarkson returned to Britain and “a sudden deterioration began to gather pace” and she began to feel “clammy”, “tightness in my chest” and “pins and needles in my left arm”.

This led to him being hospitalized; Here, the possibility of a heart attack was ruled out after taking an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood tests and x-rays.

After the life-saving surgery, he was warned by doctors that he would need to make major lifestyle changes.

Clarkson’s Farm has gone on and off and become a huge hit since it first launched on Amazon Prime in 2021 having four successful series.
