Jeremy Renner sent pornographic images to filmmaker Yi Zhou? Avengers actor issues statement, admits ‘rejecting her romantic..’

In a series of Instagram posts, Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou stated that the 54-year-old actor sent “a series of unsolicited/unsolicited pornographic images of himself” in DMs and WhatsApp in June, and when he confronted her, he allegedly “threatened to call immigration/ICE” on her.

Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner has vehemently denied sending unsolicited sexual messages to Chinese film producer Yi Zhou. The actor touched upon the allegations made against him by the producer. According to ‘People’ magazine, Zhou worked with Renner on the ‘Chronicles of Disney’ documentary and an animated film.

In a series of Instagram posts, the filmmaker alleged that the 54-year-old actor sent “a series of unsolicited/unsolicited pornographic images of himself” in DMs and WhatsApp in June and “threatened to call immigration/ICE” on her when she confronted him.

“The allegations are completely false and unfounded,” a representative for the actor said in a statement to ‘People’. Renner’s attorney, Marty Singer, rejected Zhou’s allegations, calling them “false, outrageous and deeply defamatory.”

The legal representative claimed Zhou retaliated against Renner after the actor “rejected his romantic advances” and failed to promote his projects on social media. According to ‘People’, Renner claimed to have met Zhou in July when they met at a hotel in Reno, Nevada; where Renner interviewed Zhou for his documentary and said the two shared “a brief consensual encounter.”

The legal representative said the two met for the second time in August and that Renner had not spoken to her for more than a month, ignoring the actor’s claim that there were “obscene messages expressing his love”.

His last message was allegedly sent on October 24. Addressing Zhou’s allegations that Renner threatened to call ICE on him, Singer alleges Zhou “relentlessly harassed and threatened my client with hundreds of unsolicited and unsolicited messages.”

Zhou has not yet responded to the claims of the actor’s legal representative. “The true truth is that Ms. Zhou relentlessly and aggressively harassed and pursued my client for months with no response from my client, except for a brief encounter on July 12, 2025,” Singer added.
