Jerry Rice storms into gallery after heckler taunts NFL legend at celebrity golf tournament

Jerry Rice wasn’t about to ignore a hustler Thursday during the American Century Championship when the NFL Hall of Famer stormed the gallery at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in South Lake Tahoe after a fan taunted him.
The San Francisco 49ers legend was competing alongside sports stars and celebrities including Aaron Rodgers, Charles Barkley and Tony Romo.
Rice, 63, was in the middle of his tour and ultimately finished 42nd in the 90-player field.

Immediately after one of the tee shots, someone in the gallery sarcastically shouted “Front!” he shouted.
NFL Hall of Famers turned to the gallery and chanted, “Hey! Yo! Hey! Hey!”

Before anyone could react, Rice dove under the ropes with his bat and launched himself into the crowd.
“Which one? Which one?!” Rice asked as he charged towards the audience.
Even on golf dunks, he closed the distance with explosiveness, making him one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.
A nearby fan shouted, “Green and blue!” He shouted and ratted out the suspected criminal. Rice finally approached, and the dude wasn’t so chivalrous.

This wasn’t Rice’s first heated moment at Edgewood Tahoe. During last year’s American Century Championship, Rice lashed out at reporters after interpreting questions about the Kansas City Chiefs as a dig at his beloved 49ers.
