Jessica Simpson, 45, poses in a swimsuit as she makes rare comments about ‘pain’ from failed marriage

Jessica Simpson has never looked better in her life.

The 45-year-old fashion designer shined in swimwear as she presented her summer collection for Walmart on Wednesday.

The blonde has a multi-toned body and a slim waist while flaunting her new zebra-print one-piece with a floral print on it, retailing for $32.

But it looks like the star isn’t feeling as good as she looks.

That same day, Simpson shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram about how she has been hurting since her split from husband Eric Johnson in October 2023.

The Texas native added that the one thing that helped him get over his emotions was performing on stage for his fans. He is currently on tour to promote his album Nashville Canyon.

The blonde had a very toned body as she showed off her new zebra print one-piece outfit.

‘As I lived my life and my heart broke in my safe places, I learned to hold on to these words that have become, in a way, a daily affirmation: ‘Home is not a place, it’s a feeling’…’ she began her post.

‘I don’t just sing these words to myself, I also sing these words in the song Fade from episode 2 of Nashville Canyon.’

The single mother added: ‘I wrote Fade in October 2023, the day the course of my life changed forever.’

Simpson officially announced her separation from Johnson on January 13, 2025, after almost a decade of marriage.

Although they made the separation public in January, reports and Simpson’s own statements indicated that they had been living separately since 2023.

Despite the official separation, the duo continued to navigate their transition amicably for the sake of their three children: Maxwell, 14, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 7.

‘After everything I have chosen to overcome myself with as much strength, courage, self-confidence and compassion as possible, I am able to save myself from the pain of disappointment, no matter how lucky I am to be able to get on stage.’

He later said that he was very grateful for the ‘home’ feeling when he was on stage.

“Because I haven’t been on stage for the last 15 years, I haven’t been able to fully express myself in the ways that are most meaningful to my life,” the artist explained.

‘Each of you who came to MY HOME on stage and blessed my heart have been an important part of my journey of pain and joy.

‘You have all resurrected my purpose and accepted me for who I am!’

Simpson said there is no greater accomplishment than being seen and experienced as oneself.

Despite the official separation, the duo continued to transition amicably for the sake of their three children: Maxwell, 14, Ace, 12, and Birdie, seven.

Last year, she posed with her daughter Birdie in a yellow swimsuit.

‘I’m so lucky to be able to sing and chat vulnerably with all of you who come to these shows!’ added the former reality TV star.

‘Thank you all for making me feel loved and valued! I’m excited to see and share powerful, inspiring and real moments with everyone this week!’

The headline of the Walmart ad mentioned their new performance: ‘Our new collection at @Walmart is ready for the summer concert! I love seeing you all @jessicasimpsonstyle at my shows! Come say hello to M&G or tag us! PA, NY and OH – see you this week!’

This comes after the Daily Mail reported that Simpson is working on a ‘new project’ that will be announced soon.
