“I have good news on that,” Hanson told Fox News Digital in a recent interview.

“People at Disney and ESPN love RedZone the way we love RedZone. Like, they don’t want to see it change. They notice that all my friends at ESPN who don’t work on NFL Sundays are watching NFL Red Zone at home. They know we’ve been serving the audience for 17 seasons so far, and they don’t want to see big material changes to that.”
“Any changes we make, at least from my perspective and from a production perspective, will be things that we think will add value or be a little bit better for the audience because we’re football fans too.”

Hanson said that while watching the game, he wanted to watch it in an informative and entertaining way, and he wanted “NFL RedZone” to be just that.
“I believe in the Golden Rule. I want to do to others the things I want them to do to me. So I’m hoping that all of my streamer friends will be covering this great sport, this great game in an informative and entertaining way while I watch on my couch, so I’m going to give it everything I’ve got, we’re going to give it everything we’ve got in the Red Zone. I don’t think you’re going to see any big, big changes in September and week one of the RedZone,” Hanson said.

“NFL RedZone” will enter its 18th season this fall. When the acquisition was announced, ESPN said the “NFL RedZone” channel would be distributed by ESPN to cable and satellite operators.
While ESPN is purchasing “NFL RedZone,” the NFL will continue to own, operate and produce the channel. As part of the deal, ESPN will acquire the rights to the RedZone brand; That could mean college football, basketball and other sports could have their own version of the “NFL RedZone.”
