Jio Platforms appoints Akash Ambani as managing director ahead of IPO

“…subject to the approval of the members of the company, Mr. Akash M. Ambani shall be appointed as the Managing Director of the Company for a period of 5 (five) years with effect from April 9, 2026, in accordance with the terms and conditions, including remuneration, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee,” the company said in its May 7 application to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
