J&K’s Ruling NC Adopts Resolution Paying Tribute To ‘Martyr’ Khamenei

Sagar, who chaired the condolence meeting at the party headquarters, guided the participants to pray and recite Fatiha for all those who lost their lives in the attack, including schoolgirls who were among the victims. A party spokesman said the atmosphere of the meeting reflected collective pain and a shared sense of loss. “Party officials expressed their sincere condolences and condolences to the Iranian people for the tragic loss of life and prayed for their protection and strength during this difficult time.”
An official resolution expressing sorrow and solidarity was presented by Kashmir Provincial Chairman Showkat Ahmad Mir and was unanimously accepted by all participants. The resolution expressed sincere sympathies for the Iranian people and prayed for strength and protection for them during what the party described as an extremely difficult period.
Many senior officials attended the meeting, including Regional President Srinagar Pir Afaq Ahmad and Women’s Branch Provincial President Er. Sabiya Kadri and many party workers. In parallel, the party’s Deputies and Members of the Legislative Assembly also expressed their solidarity with Iran, in line with the sentiments expressed at the meeting.
Meanwhile, a video circulating on social media sparked harsh reactions from some political leaders after it emerged showing police officers beating burqa-clad women participating in a protest near Srinagar. The demonstration was held in response to the killing of Khamenei, his family members, and some of Iran’s senior political and military figures in recent US-Israeli operations.

This is a time of mourning for us and the situation must be handled with compassion and sensitivity.”
The restrictions will continue on Tuesday for the second consecutive day in various parts of the Kashmir Valley, according to officials, with the administration describing them as a preventive step aimed at maintaining peace and public order.
