Is WOMADelaide next? Zionist group targets Palestinian DJ

On the heels of the Adelaide Writers’ Week debacle, the WOMADelaide board is being pressured to sack Techno DJ Sama’ Abdulhami. What is fraud?
The scam is a garbled record of a playbook used by those who think free speech only applies to like-minded people. In this case, Zionist agitators called “Never Now Again” are running a mail campaign to have one of this year’s headline acts removed from WOMADelaide in March.
Like the Adelaide Festival Board’s letter to Randa Abdel-Fattah, indirectly linking the festival’s cancellation to the Bondi massacre, the campaign refers to Sama Abdulhami, a strong supporter of Palestinian rights, as “particularly troubling in light of the Bondi Beach Terrorist attack”.
For context, Sema’ AbdulhamiHis family was once expelled from Palestine for participating in a peaceful protest, and when he was 13 the IDF seized their apartment block, forcing the family to live on the roof.
Like Abdul Fattah, he is a strong supporter of the Palestinian cause. They have the right to be heard. So, by the way, does New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, whom Abdel-Fattah wants removed from Adelaide Writers’ Week in 2024.
To paraphrase Voltaire’s (or rather his biographer’s) immortal words,
I don’t approve of what you said, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
Vale Adelaide Writers Week. A literary icon succumbed to Israeli pressure
