John Bradshaw Layfield names Mike Bailey, Josh Alexander as must-watch

The professional wrestling landscape is so vast that no one can watch it all.

Major companies like WWE and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) put on shows up to four times a week. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) airs a show on Thursday nights, and Major League Wrestling (MLW) runs its flagship show on YouTube on Saturdays. Not to mention the international and independent programs airing throughout the week.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield named a handful of wrestlers that fans should really watch during their viewing experience.

“I saw ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey in AEW, who is an incredible talent. Josh Alexander is the same,” he said. “There’s a guy in Texas named Will Allday who works on the independents. I watched him there. He fires up the local crowd every time he comes out; he has no TV experience that I know of. I think there’s a lot of young talent.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital on behalf of his partnership with BZZR, Bradshaw praised the amount of talent emerging throughout professional wrestling and compared it to his era.

“I’ve never seen this much talent in wrestling. In the Attitude Era, we had a really full roster. WCW had a really full roster. The Independents didn’t have a full roster,” he said. “They kind of pick and choose.

“Now, you go to these independent shows and these guys are amazing. I think it’s about education. It’s about the number of schools they have. The amount of education they can get. Now when you look at wrestling, there’s so much incredible talent and so much depth. It’s incredible where the business is at right now.”
