Horror as woman sold to 120 men for sex – man charged for exploiting ‘vulnerable’ wife | World | News

A man was charged with allegedly selling his wife to 120 men in exchange for sex. The 62-year-old man is accused of exploiting his “vulnerable” wife into having sex with men for money for three years.
The man, a former Hells Angel, is accused of aggravated pimping as well as multiple counts of rape and assault. He was arrested last October after his wife reported him to the police in northern Sweden. He reportedly created online advertisements to arrange sexual meetings where he would pressure his wife into “performing sexual acts and submitting.” He is also accused of fueling the woman’s drug addiction, making her increasingly vulnerable to manipulation.
Prosecutors in Sweden described the man’s treatment of his wife as “brutal abuse”. In addition to the aggravated pimping charge, the suspect was also charged with eight counts of rape, four attempted rapes, and four assaults between August 11, 2022 and October 21, 2025.
Prosecutor Ida Annerstedt said the vulnerable woman had “agreed to sell sex” “to some extent”. But he refused to have sex with certain people or under certain conditions.
Annerstedt said: “There are certain boundaries that she has. When he doesn’t respect those, when he crushes her after she says ‘no’, those are situations where he is accused of attempted rape or rape.”
Prosecutors charged 26 men with procuring sex in the case. The remaining people are under investigation.
Nina Larsson, the Swedish Minister for Gender Equality, told
“The government has tightened penalties for sexual offenses and stepped up efforts against prostitution and human trafficking; this work needs to continue and I will return with an action plan this spring.
“Purchasing sexual acts is a serious crime in itself, but in addition pimping is also closely associated with other forms of serious crime.”
The suspect denies the allegations. His trial is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 13.
