Kannada playwright, actor, director Yashwanth Sardeshpande is no more

The playwright, actor and director Yashwanth Sardeshpande (60) passed away in Bengaluru on 29 September. According to family sources, he died of a heart stop in a private hospital in Bengaluru. His wife Malati (also an actor) and his daughters survived.
Born in Basavana Bagewadi Taluk Ukkali from the Vijayapura region in Karnataka, Yashwanth’s interest in the theater from his childhood to Ninasam, where he provided a diploma to Ninasam.
After the first struggle in the theater, Yashwanth founded a repertoire ‘Guru Samsthe in Hubball with the help of Ninasam’s other graduates. He fame with the ‘best’ translated from Marathi. He didn’t come back from now on. His wife Malati was part of the team.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, former general ministers Jagadish Settar and Basavaraj Bomnai, Karnataka Legislative Council President Basavaraj Horatti mourned his death.
