Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanti celebrated with religious fervour in Vizianagaram

Hundreds of devotees offered special prayers on the occasion of Goddess Kanyaka Parameswari Jayanti, which was celebrated with religious fervor on Sunday. On this auspicious day, the presiding deity was adorned in a diamond-studded sari and a golden crown. Temple president Narayanam Srinivas, Arya Vysya Sangham Vizianagaram city president Ravva Srinivas and others coordinated the arrangements for Ashtottara Sata Kalasa Pradakshina, Abhishekam and other rituals.

Devotees offered 108 types of naivedyam in a traditional manner. In the evening, a large rally was held, culminating near the temple. A Veda Sabha was also held on the occasion. Adhyatmika Jnana Jyothi Mandali president PVR Kumari and other members participated in the parade and related activities.
