US HR tech firm Isolved opens GCC in Hyderabad, its biggest campus outside the US

Hyderabad: US-based HR technology firm Isolved has opened its GCC in Hyderabad as it invests heavily in India; Hyderabad is emerging as the company’s largest base outside the US, as it scales engineering, AI and product development talent from the country. According to company executives, the Hyderabad headquarters will be the company’s largest campus outside the US.

The company inaugurated a new 28,000-square-foot office in Hyderabad on Monday and plans to hire 400 employees by the end of 2027 as part of a broader effort to make India a major hub for building next-generation human capital management (HCM) products.

Isolved currently has eight offices across the US and a smaller customer support presence in Colombia.

Yogesh More, managing director of Izoled India, told ET: “All bets are on India right now. Initially, we were thinking of 20-40 people and now we are looking at over 400 people.”

Unlike many global talent hubs that largely perform back-office functions, isolved said its India teams will produce products directly for the company’s global platform.

More added: “They will be building two products: Better Benefits and Marketplace. With the introduction of AI, these talents in Hyderabad are at par with anyone else in the world. These teams will contribute equally as you build these products.” added More.
The company said the Hyderabad hub will support product engineering, AI-driven capabilities, platform delivery as well as payroll and tax processing operations. More said that after the company evaluated multiple locations, Hyderabad emerged ahead of cities like Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi.

“They’ve seen that the infrastructure is great. There’s a huge presence of other companies here too, which gives reassurance that things are going really well,” he said.

He added that the city’s existing HR technology ecosystem also contributes greatly.

According to the company, around 50-60% of those hired so far already have domain expertise in HR practices and customer support.

“Hyderabad gives us the depth and capability to accelerate product development and deliver smarter, human-centered solutions, while also enabling us to build the back-office processing functions like payroll and tax that keep our customers’ businesses running,” Isolved said.

isolved, which serves more than 200,000 employers and 9 million employees in the US, said its India hub is expected to evolve into a center of excellence for engineering and artificial intelligence innovation.
