13th Cabinet Minister to take oath along with DK Shivakumar
Hours before DKShivakumar’s swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, the Congress released the list of 13 cabinet ministers who will be sworn in on June 3, 2026. Without giving room to speculations, Congress decided to appoint G. Parameshwara as Deputy Chief Minister.
While outgoing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Yathindra Siddaramaiah will make his Cabinet debut, others to be sworn in include UT Khader, MB Patil, KJ George, KH Muniyappa, Satish Jarkiholi, Ramalinga Reddy, Krishna Byregowda), Priyank Kharge, Ishwar Khandre, Byrathi Suresh and Sharan Prakash Patil.
After days of consultations among leaders, the Congress considered seniority, caste and regional equations before reaching a decision.
