Karnataka Minister D Sudhakar Dies

Bengaluru: Karnataka minister D Sudhakar died early on Sunday after prolonged illness, according to a medical bulletin. He was 66 years old. The planning and statistics minister breathed his last at the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences here. He had been receiving treatment for a lung infection for the last two months.

Medical Director of Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. “Hon’ble Minister Mr. Sudhakar D, 66, was declared dead at 3.15 am on 10.05.2026 at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Electronic City,” R Chinnadurai said in the bulletin. he said.

Sudhakar was a senior Congress leader and MLA from Hiriyur in Chitradurga district.
