Karur stampede | T.N. government will bring out truth through SIT probe, says CM Stalin

Tamil Nadu Prime Minister MK Stalin said on Saturday, October 4, 2025, in accordance with the Directive of the Madras Supreme Court, that a special investigation team (SIT) would start the investigation into Karur Stampede and that the government would reveal the truth through the investigation. “Accountability will be corrected at every level, X said X.

In this collective effort, I welcome everyone’s suggestions and inputs. Every life is invaluable. Let’s protect the lives of our people and never come true elsewhere in India,” he said.

“Tamil Nadu government is acting with maximum seriousness, taking into account all the observations and guides published by the Supreme Court on the tragedy of the Karur tragedy,” Stalin said.

“The tragedy in Karur shook us deeply. He’s grieving to see the tears of every family who lost their loved ones,” he added.
