Kate Walsh: Hollywood star’s bizarre encounter while driving on Aussie country road

American actress Kate Walsh documented a strange sight she encountered while driving on a rural road in Australia.
The Grays Anatomy star is far from a stranger to our shores, calling Perth home since COVID and residing in City Beach with her WA-based husband Andrew Nixon.
But Walsh, 58, admitted there were things about his adopted homeland that continued to surprise him.
Posting a series of videos to his Instagram story on Wednesday, the actor – dressed in a casual black hoodie – shared a movie-like experience that took place outside the box.
“When you’re driving in Australia you’re often stuck behind oversized vehicles,” he said.
“I’ve never seen a book this big… it’s like, ‘Is this a movie, a touching story, a truck game, a Dr. Seuss book come to life?’ It was like.
Admitting that his imagination may have gotten the better of him, Walsh added: “I hope you have as much fun with it as I did.”
The Emily in Paris star then moved on to said animated, oversized vehicle; This vehicle appeared to have arched its unused tires and remained suspended in the air, while it was spread out across two driving lanes and cleared of cargo.
Walsh accompanied the images with circus-like music to emphasize the vehicle’s strange shape and its novelty to him.

“I can say that the gentleman in the big vehicle was very polite. He kindly pulled over and let me pass,” he continued.
“But boy, it was a treat… I thought: ‘Is this where the timeline splits, am I entering the matrix like the other dimension?’

A regular on Perth’s social scene, Walsh is frequently seen at Perth theater and arts events and appeared at Perth’s Sail GP show in January.
The actress, known for her role as Dr Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy, reprized her famous character in a guest role in the show’s 22nd season earlier this year.
