Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews suffers huge blow as his family turn on him in new statement

Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews was dealt a major blow on Wednesday when his own family made a shocking new statement against him.

Lee was recently released from prison in Dubai for the second time after facing allegations of fraud.

Now in a new statement, SunLee’s school friends said: ‘Kelly Andrews and I just want to take some time and tell the truth.

‘The latest information shared revealed evidence that shocked us both.

‘We’re the first to admit we were wrong, and now that there’s evidence, we think it’s important to admit it.

‘We also want people to understand that this is about Kelly’s brother, which makes this incredibly painful for their family.

‘The Lee we knew was never like this, which makes it even harder for us to wrap our heads around everything that’s come to light, both as his sister and as a friend.’

Lee was taken by police to Lahab police station in the Dubai desert on July 10 and arrested there. He is seeking a £120,000 fine.

His father Peter was said to have been jailed in the same prison as Lee after he was reported to authorities on suspicion of fraud.

On Monday, it was reported that Lee was released but his father still remains behind bars. But those inside said Peter was outside and talking to Lee’s wife, Katie.

‘Katie is aware Peter has been released and is speaking to him,’ a source said. Sun.

‘He’s currently focusing on his life and work in the UK and doing the best he can.’

Katie’s representative declined to comment when contacted by the Daily Mail.

Lee and his father are thought to be seeing each other behind bars as they face allegations of fraud.

Lee must raise money to pay off his debts before being released, the sources added.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Lee had been put behind bars once again, just a month after his release from Dubai prison Al Awir, but had “bragged” about his release as he increased the £120,000 fine he faced.

Katie was in contact with Lee’s father Peter when he first went missing in May, and he was the first to confirm his son’s arrest to the Daily Mail.

Lee’s wife Katie is thought to have finally reached the end of her bond with her husband and her friends are pressuring her to “leave him”.

A source said: ‘Both Lee and his father are currently behind bars, in the same prison. Lee maintains his innocence and hopes to pay his outstanding debts and get out of that hellhole as quickly as possible.’

Lee’s family said in a new statement: ‘The Lee we knew was never like this, which makes it even harder for us as his sisters to understand everything that has come to light.’

‘He is trying to raise security to remove himself from the country and return to the UK, where he hopes to restart his life.’

‘It remains to be seen whether poor Katie’ will be there to greet her on the other side. She is currently angry about everything and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband brings. His friends insist that he leave her.’

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Lee had been ‘marketing the sex tape with his wife Katie for months’, amid plans to sell the footage for £250,000.

New reports claim that Lee is considering selling the video to Vivid Entertainment, which makes money from leaked videos of Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson.

Reports later emerged that a voice note Lee allegedly sent to a friend before he was detained over fraud allegations captured him discussing a tape that ‘could have cost quite a bit’.

In the alleged recording, Lee reportedly said he needed to ‘make money quickly’ and suggested the tape could earn him £250,000. When he learned it would be illegal he reportedly backed out, saying he was just joking.

Katie has denied all allegations that she made a sex tape with Lee.

They claim: ‘Lee was touting a “sex tape” of him and Katie that he said was available in the US. He seemed pretty prepared with the companies he needed to contact.

‘People were talking about it on here, saying he contacted Vivid Entertainment and other companies that distributed adult content.

‘He also had money on his mind and there was a suggestion of getting an advance of £250,000. This is absolutely crazy. He wasn’t taken seriously and in the end it all came to nothing, but that didn’t stop him from trying.’

The Daily Mail has contacted Katie and Lee’s representatives for comment.

Katie responded to the sex tape news on Saturday, sharing the following statement: ‘This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape and any suggestion to the contrary is false and extremely misleading.

‘The allegations appear to be based on a voice note Lee sent about a tape… a tape that does not exist and will never exist. This material has been provided to The Sun by a third party and is not factual.’

He added: ‘I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been made public without any factual basis.’

In the voice note, Lee reportedly said: ‘I can always release my sex tape with my wife, but it could cost quite a bit. Yes, there is a short part to it, but that’s between you and me.

‘So let’s see if a newspaper will pay for this. Quarter of a million fucking pounds…’

But Lee apparently quickly backed off his alleged plans when he was warned that it was illegal to do so without Katie’s permission.

He reportedly replies: ‘I wasn’t serious about it, we have OnlyFans, we’ll do our bit on that.’
