The 47-year-old former glamor model shocked fans by announcing her engagement to Lee Williams in Dubai on Friday.

The entrepreneur, originally from Manchester, has lived in Dubai for 21 years and has documented his flashy lifestyle on his social media channels.

But before Lee popped the question to Katie and made her his ninth fiancée, he had been married to Palestinian-born and Qatari-raised health and fitness coach Dina Taji, 41, for several years and met her at the gym in Dubai at the beginning of 2020.

Lee, whose mother Trish is from a small mining town in Derbyshire, told friends online that his son was engaged and boasted about how he would do anything to attract the beauty by winning over her family.

But before Lee popped the question to Katie and made her his ninth fiancee, Katie had been married to 41-year-old Palestinian-born health and fitness trainer Dina Taji for several years.

He said he called Dina ‘a beautiful person’ and ‘she is my person, I love her unconditionally’.

Lee revealed that they fell in love with each other when he was with his other partners, and said he admired the “kindness” of Islam as well as Arab culture and traditions, including fasting during Ramadan.

He also claimed that he lived next to a mosque and visited Mecca.

He wrote: ‘I first fell in love with a woman, the perfect woman you know, before I even entered the world of Islam and things like that.

‘I was accepted by the family, they are very forward-thinking. They have such beautiful hearts; They help anyone, any race or individual.

‘They’re really lovely people, they are, that’s the first thing and I fell in love with them, so not just like I fell in love with my wife, but I also fell in love with the family package deal.’

The 41-year-old health and fitness coach met Dina at the beginning of 2020 and revealed that they fell in love while they were together with their other partners.

In an advertisement for his services he says: ‘I decided to change my life. I started small; I started walking around my neighborhood, improving my nutrition, and doing simple home exercises.

‘Over time, my body changed, but the mental transformation was even greater. Feeling confident and energetic motivated me to learn more, eventually join a gym, ask for help, and dive deeper into fitness and health education.

‘As I transformed, others noticed and sought my guidance. Helping my friends improve their lives sparked my passion for coaching.

‘But my journey was not without its challenges; I faced eating disorders, injuries like severe sciatica, and the constant pressure of maintaining results.

‘These experiences taught me the importance of balance, mental health and holistic wellbeing.

Beyond ‘fitness’, I am deeply committed to animal rescue. While living in the UAE, I witnessed the heartbreaking stray cat crisis.

‘What started with feeding stray animals has turned into a full-scale rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming mission. This year alone, my best friend and I have rescued over 1,000 cats and cared for over 450 in a seven-bedroom villa.’
