Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau hope for good luck.

“Ancient texts say that if you jump to this song you will receive 1000 years of good luck,” he wrote in his caption.

Among those jumping up to wish him good luck was the former Canadian Prime Minister, who laughed as he jumped over the screen with his arms at his sides.

Trudeau, wearing a green T-shirt and khaki pants, smiled as he locked eyes with Perry in the center of the frame.

“Justin Trudeau is finally living his teenage dream 💖,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while another added: “I love seeing Trudaddy jumping around and looking lovestruck at Katy💕🥰.”

A third fan added: “From a Canadian: Good to see Justin looking genuinely happy again. Life is too short not to enjoy the beautiful moments.”

The couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Perry’s “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris” at the Tribeca Film Festival last June, almost a year after they sparked romance rumors.

“I feel like a more grounded person in many areas of my life,” she told People at the film’s premiere. “I’m so in love. And actually this show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very invested in it because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite.”

Perry and Trudeau were first seen dining together in July 2025 while on tour at Le Violon in Montreal. He was later seen with his daughter at one of her concerts.

They later launched their relationship on Instagram in December 2025, sharing photos of their time together in Tokyo, Japan. The photo carousel showed black-and-white images of the duo smiling cheek to cheek and trying sushi while trees were in the background.

Their relationship began when Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie split in 2023 after 18 years of marriage, and Perry and her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom called off their engagement in July 2025.

“Orlando and Katy had been transitioning their relationship in recent months to focus on co-parenting,” reps told Us Weekly at the time.

“They will continue to be viewed together as a family, as their common priority is and always will be to raise their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”

The former couple has a 5-year-old daughter named Daisy.
