Keerthy Suresh Is Back With Star-Studded Movies in Tollywood

Actress Keerthy Suresh, who has largely focused on Tamil cinema in the last few years, is looking to regain her footing in Tollywood with a series of promising Telugu projects.

“Keerthy has made a strong impression in Telugu with successful films like Nenu Local and National Award-winning Mahanati. Now she is keen to go big and expand her presence in Telugu cinema once again,” says a producer.

One of the most interesting things is her first full-fledged pairing with Vijay Deverakonda in director Ravi Kiran Kola’s new wholesome entertainer tentatively titled Rowdy Janardhan. Although the duo had previously shared screen space in Mahanati, they did not appear as a romantic couple in the Savitri biopic as their characters belong to different timelines.

Keerthy has had successful collaborations with many leading Telugu stars including Nani (Nenu Local, Dasara), Ram Pothineni (Nenu Sailaja) and Mahesh Babu (Sarkaru Vaari Paata). Her performance in Dasara, where she paired opposite Nani in an intense rural drama, received widespread acclaim and reaffirmed her acting talent.

“She is also featured in Venkatesh’s upcoming film, which is expected to strengthen his comeback bid. The makers have recently completed shooting for a song featuring Kalyan Ram and other lead actors, while Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty are currently participating in the ongoing shooting schedule of the film<'.

With two high-profile Telugu projects in hand and new on-screen pairings, Keerthy Suresh looks set to reclaim her place among Tollywood’s leading actresses.
