Blinkit launches RuPay powered NCMC Bharat Yatra Card

(CEO) Albinder Dhindsa on Tuesday announced the launch of RuPay powered NCMC Bharat Yatra Card. It supports instant UPI top-ups and eliminates the need for city-specific transport cards.

The card comes with the following fee: 50 and does not require KYC.

In a social media post on X, Albinder Dhindsa said: “Today, we are launching the NCMC Bharat Yatra Card on Blinkit. @PineLabs’ 50, zero-KYC, RuPay-backed card that supports instant UPI top-ups and also eliminates the need for city-specific transport cards.”

“This is a meaningful step in enabling public transport (metro and bus) usage in different cities of India. We have started deliveries in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad,” Dhindsa added.

The Bharat Yatra Card showcases illustrations depicting famous monuments of India such as Taj Mahal, India Gate and Gateway of India. Currently, Blinkit distributes the national mobility pass only in NCR (national capital region), Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Ahmedabad regions.

This project expands Pine Labs’ expanding transportation payment solutions following its collaboration with Flipkart in October 2025 for NCMC card distribution. Regarding Blinkit, this rollout represents a pioneering example of a fast commerce service that provides a means of transition through high-speed door-to-door delivery.
