Keir Starmer posts bizarre TikTok video with his face and the No10 door edited onto the final scene of Fast and Furious 7… and is heavily mocked

Sir Keir Starmer may have had his last day in No 10 but that did not stop the ousted Prime Minister giving social media users one last opportunity to mock him.

Just hours after tendering his formal resignation to the King, the former Labor leader posted a bizarre video on TikTok celebrating his 745th day in office.

In the iconic final scene of Fast and Furious 7, Starmer’s face and the door of 10 Downing Street, fictionalized through Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), were shown.

As each character sits in parked cars next to each other and Wiz Khalifa’s 2015 hit See You Again plays in the background, the door says to Starmer in O’Conner’s voice: ‘Hey, thought you could leave without saying goodbye?’

Speaking through Toretto, Starmer responds: ‘I used to say I lived my life a quarter of a mile away and I guess that’s why we were brothers… because you did too.’

The edit then cuts to a montage of the former Prime Minister’s best moments, including clips of him scoring penalties at schools, army bases and Football Aid training.

As the clip nears its end, before the two cars pull apart, Starmer says to the door: “You’ll always be with me and you’ll always be my brother.”

The video garnered millions of views and nearly 563,000 likes, but X users were less than impressed.

Reposting the TikTok, one wrote: ‘Keir Starmer posted this absolutely awful video on his official TikTok page. ‘I’m still torn between surprise and happiness.’

Meanwhile, someone else called the clip ’embarrassing’ and shared: ‘Keir Starmer posted the strangest farewell videos on his TikTok account. I wonder who did this and told him it was a good idea to put it out. I think the kids will say ’embarrassing’.’

One more simply asked: ‘KEIR STARMERS PUBLISHED A POST EDITING TIKTOK WHY AM I SEEING IM AGAIN ON TEARSSSSSS.’

But Starmer appeared to have put the criticism aside as he was photographed drinking a pint in his local pub on Monday, just hours after his resignation.

Dressed in black trousers and an unbuttoned navy blue shirt, the Arsenal fan celebrated the end of his tenure with many of his former colleagues in Kentish Town, north London.

Rachel Reeves, who was sacked as Chancellor earlier in the day, was seen chatting on the phone with a pint of cloudy brown ale in hand, while giggling between sips of wine.

Some of those in attendance even wore t-shirts commemorating the former Prime Minister; One of his clothes featured the slogan ‘Shine With Starmer’.

Starmer made his farewell speech outside Downing Street on Monday morning, claiming he left Britain in a ‘stronger place’ than two years ago.

The 63-year-old actor began: ‘I’m done. In six and a half years, I saved our party from the historic defeat in 2019, prepared it to face the country, and won a landslide general election victory in 2024.

‘Since then, it has been the privilege of my life to serve you and this great country as Prime Minister, and I am confident that Britain is stronger and fairer than it was two years ago.

‘Our economy is stronger. Our public services are improving, with the biggest drop in waiting times in 17 years. Children are being lifted out of poverty every day.

‘Immigration has decreased significantly. Our defense and security are on a much stronger foundation and our international reputation is greatly enhanced.

‘What I will always take with me though is the most humbling aspect of this job, the front row seat to witnessing this country’s greatest things in action. Seeing immeasurable acts of determination, courage, kindness and compassion every day.

‘From the people who serve our country, whether in regimental colours, NHS scrubs, or simply from the millions of people in their communities who volunteer their time and effort to the ground beneath their feet.’

Meanwhile, Angela Rayner has been reappointed as Housing Secretary, just ten months after she was sacked over unpaid stamp duty.

Former health minister Wes Streeting was appointed Defense Minister, while Lisa Nandy continued as Culture Minister.

Yvette Cooper was demoted to the rank of Minister of Health, despite her request to stay to ensure continuity at the Foreign Office, which has seen ten foreign ministers serve in the past few years.
