Kell West Hospital ceasing operations after 25 years

Kell West Hospital announced that it is withdrawing from operations.
The hospital, on Kell Avenue, announced on its Facebook page that it had “taken the difficult decision to cease operations”.
The decision came after a comprehensive review of the “evolving healthcare landscape, including reimbursement rates, patient volumes and infrastructure needs, and the cost of care,” the post said.
CEO Dr. “Kell West’s transition is the result of careful consideration and consideration of whether we can maintain our commitment to our staff, physicians, and community,” Jerry Myers said in the post.
